COMMUNITY  •  FOUNDING MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT
I'm launching the Ecom Heads community
I'm hand-picking 50 founding members to help shape the community before paid membership opens. They get free access for life.
I'm looking for the first 50 members.
These first 50 will be the founding members. I'll choose every member by hand, and each one will receive a free lifetime membership.
I want Ecom Heads to become the ecommerce hive mind I wish existed.

The ecommerce hive mind
Most of us know our own corner of ecommerce well. The expensive mistakes usually happen when you run into a problem you haven't dealt with before.
Someone else has probably dealt with it.
They may have hired the vendor you're evaluating, tested the strategy you're considering, or already made the mistake you're about to make.
The community gives us a place to combine that experience.
Share and learn from one another
The first version will live in a private Slack. Bring questions and problems to people who understand the work.
Share what you've tested. Talk about what worked. Be honest about the things that cost money and went nowhere.
The room becomes more useful every time someone shares an experience that saves another member time, money, or frustration.
You should be able to open Slack with a problem and find someone who has seen a version of it before.
Jobs: connect with ecommerce die-hards
Finding good ecommerce people is hard. Finding good ecommerce opportunities can be just as frustrating.
I want the community to help with both.
If your brand or agency is hiring, you'll have a room full of people who live and breathe ecommerce. If you're looking for your next role, you can connect directly with brands and agencies that understand the value of ecommerce experience.
The goal is to create better connections between people doing serious work in this industry.
I'm keeping the founding group at 50 so people can learn the names in the room and understand what everyone is good at.
Why start with founding members?
I could open the doors and charge for access right away. I don't want to do that yet.
Before offering a paid membership, I want to understand how the community actually functions. I want to see which conversations pull people back, which channels are useful, and where the experience needs work.
The founding members will help me get that dialed in by using the community and telling me what should change.
In return, they get free access for life.
When paid membership opens later, founding members will continue paying $0.
Who I'm looking for
I'm looking for people who are actively working in ecommerce and expect to participate. Budget size and job title matter less than how much you can add to the room.
I'll review every application before choosing the 50 founding members.
Applications close Sunday at 11:59 PM ET.
What happens next
If you aren't selected for a founding seat, you'll still have an opportunity to join when the paid membership opens.
I want to make sure the community is worth paying for first.
